Blue Sky Bridge is a child abuse intervention and education nonprofit that helps survivors and their families heal. To meet the needs of their diverse community, we created a communication guide and custom website translation.

A complete website translation of Blue Sky Bridge’s site makes important information accesible to families. Delicate themes that can’t be conveyed appropriately through an automatic translation have been carefully updated.
Process
1. Traslation
We researched similar nonprofits and using DeepL and verified translated texts we created a comprehensive communication quide to steer the organization.
2. Translation Toggle
We designed a slick translation toggle to quickly switch the page between English and Spanish.
3. Complete Translation
Our website translation is consistent and understandable even as it addresses complicated themes. For example, TF-CBT is a special type of therapy that needs extra explication in Spanish to be understandable past its acronym.
We designed customer images so that the website’s Spanish translation isn’t just limited to text elements.

We revised over 2,150 blocks of copy to create a completely custom Spanish website.
